CGPA Formula:
CGPA=Total Credit Hours/ Total Grade Points
There also another method to calculate CGPA manually for the Pakistani universities. Suppose you are a 5th semester student and you know your each semester GPA. Suppose following are your GPAs in each semester.

Now to calculate your CGPA, add all semesters GPA (3.77 + 3.90 + 3.38 + 3.58 = 14.63 ) After getting this answer we have to divide it by the number of semesters. Here number of semesters are 4 so we will divide the answer by 4. It is simple just like finding the average.
CGPA= 14.63/ 4
3.65 is the answer. Means 3.65 is my Cumulative Grade Point Average. Hope I wrote it in a best possible way and you can understand the logic behind CGPA.
